Troubleshooting for YouTube ReVanced Buffering and Video Loading Issues

We would like to bring to your attention that many users of YouTube ReVanced are currently experiencing buffering issues as well as videos failing to load after a few seconds of viewing.

What Our Investigation Found

Following our investigation, we discovered that in recent weeks, Google has been taking tougher stances against third-party software broadcasting YouTube videos, or modified from YouTube. This issue is only happening with certain accounts.

Viable Solution

After testing several versions, we found that YouTube ReVanced Extended v18.29.38 is still functioning in many cases.

Troubleshooting Steps

If the problem persists, here are some steps you can try:

  • Purge the MicroG cache
  • Log out of your Google account from MicroG, and use a different account. You may access MicroG, then navigate to Settings >> Accounts >> Remove MicroG Google Account
  • Uninstall and reinstall MicroG (you can use the ReVanced Manager to do so)
  • Allow MicroG to run in the background with your Android system
  • Turn on Spoof Device in ReVanced >> Player >> & then reopen the ReVanced & Check. (In ReVanced Extended: Turn on Spoof Test Client in ReVanced Extended/Miscellaneous)
