For Non-Root
If you are using a Non-Rooted Android device, follow these instructions to install YouTube ReVanced:
- Remove all previous installations of MicroG and YouTube ReVanced
- Download and install the latest version of MicroG here, note that MicroG is a background service so it may require some background permissions.
- Download and install the latest version of YouTube ReVanced here.
- Enjoy ad-free YouTube viewing.
For Root
To install the app on your Rooted Android device, follow these simple steps:
- Download and install the latest ReVanced Manager from our website.
- Open the ReVanced Manager app and tap on the "Magisk" icon to grant root permissions.
- Now, you can easily install YouTube ReVanced or YouTube Music ReVanced.

How to Build Your Own Custom APK File
For those who enjoy a hands-on approach, you can create your own YouTube ReVanced APK. Here's a quick overview:
- Ensure you have Java JRE installed on your computer.
- Download the necessary components: ReVanced CLI, ReVanced Patches, ReVanced Integrations, and the original YouTube APK.
- Place all files in the same directory.
- Open a command prompt in this directory.
- Run the patching command:
java -jar revanced-cli.jar patch youtube.apk --patch-bundle=revanced-patches.jar --merge=revanced-integrations.apk --out=revanced_youtube.apk
- Transfer the resulting APK to your Android device and install it.
For Android Device via ReVanced Manager
- Download the latest version of ReVanced Manager
- Install ReVanced Manager on your Android device.
- Open ReVanced Manager and tap on the "Patcher" tab.
- Select "YouTube" from the list of apps, or download and select YouTube APK
- Select Patches that you want to install.
- Tap on the "Build" button.
- ReVanced Manager will download the necessary files and build the ReVanced YouTube app.
- Once the app is built, tap on the "Install" button to install it on your device.
- Open the ReVanced YouTube app and enjoy your ad-free, background playback, and PiP experience.
For Android Device via Revancify
- Download Termux Monet from this link.
- Open Termux.
- Copy and paste this command:
curl -sL "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/decipher3114/Revancify/main/install.sh" | bash
- If the above command doesn't work, use this alternative:
pkg update -y -o Dpkg::Options::="--force-confnew" && pkg install git -y && git clone --depth=1 https://github.com/decipher3114/Revancify.git && ./Revancify/revancify
- After installation, type
revancify
in Termux and press enter. - Or use with arguments. Check them with
revancify -h
orrevancify --help
Additional Information
- You need to have the latest version of the YouTube app installed on your device in order to build ReVanced YouTube.
- You also need to have the latest version of MicroG installed on your device in order to sign in to ReVanced YouTube.
- If you encounter any problems, you can try clearing the cache and data for Community ReVanced Manager and ReVanced YouTube.
